The Board passed resolutions honoring Shawn Burt and Laurie Belli for many years of service. Shawn Burt brought tremendous expertise in fire sciences and served as Chairman during his last term. Laurie Belli's skill and expertise in finance was instrumental in assuring sound financial practices and creation of financial policies. The District is very appreciative of their work on the part of Sierra County citizens.

Sierra County Fire Protection District #1 is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Sierra County Fire Protection District #1
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
